I am back and I need your help on this one

Hi my lovely buttercup baby biscuits. I missed you all. I took a break from blogging for a while because let's face it life gets in the way sometimes right. One day it's new years day, the next day it is lent, the next day it is August Bank holiday and then Christmas.  So according to this calender of busy people there 4 days in a year. I have also taken the time to reflect on the 12 months of my blog and thought of new strategy for my blog going forward.  So far my blog has been heavily focused on fashion.  Now I am thinking of branching out and give my view on other things including beauty (obviously), pop culture, and general everyday grumpy rants. I will give you gist and I will tell you stories shikena.  Here is where you come in what did you like in my previous blog posts? Photos? Where to purchase the latest fashion? Advice on how to put things together? What would you like me to keep doing? Le Beau says not everyone wants to see my beautiful face everytime, how wrong is he, you guys love me right? Say it is so. Please the sweetness of this blog lies on you hands. Comment and tell me what you want to see. I will personally email you with hot gist fresh off the press.  Until next time buttercups

Are you ready for spring:Shirt dress update and Spring essentials

Are you guys ready for spring? Or as we know it here in England 'Springter', springy winter. We don't care if snow falls tomorrow, we will still rock our mules and duster coats. A little sunshine and we are already packing away our winter jackets, I always keep one out just in case. But let's pretend it is spring, 18 degrees and sunny everyday..... tarra....it's time for a wardrobe change. What are your spring essentials? My absolute must haves... Girl meets boy. Rock that powerful suit with a twist

The power suit aka mens wear, aka women do it better is a trend that has been around for sometime. I have a few suits in my wardrobe but everytime I attempted to wear a suit to work I always veto my self with the exact words of "where are you even going sef" and "are you the CEO" , just as I put it on I take it off even quicker, until I saw the way some celebs made it their own and then I was like "I can do this". Here are some ways you can wear and own a power suit look and still put a twist on it. 1. Choose a colour that says "I ain't scurred to be bold". I chose a pinkish salmon colour. Love it, it stood out. 2. Wear something lacey or feminine inside. I find that looks with an Oxford shirt is taking menswear too literal. Do it differently. Wear a camisole and still rock a strong look. 3. Wear shorts with your suit. It adds a little extra and will make you stand out 4. A high Waisted trouser will flatter anyone, making your legs look longer, you can't go wrong. 5. Pair it up with accessories. Bling that look up with either a broach or some neck bling. 6. Wear it with trainers and a peg leg pair of trousers with a t-shirt and a blazer. So my buttercups, just do you, don't let the suit wear you oh. Show the suit who is boss. Until next time image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image I hope you enjoyed. Please comment and give your own tips or tell me who rocked it best.

New resolutions in this day and age?

I have a long standing tradition of making my resolutions on my birthday rather than at the New Year, considering that my birthday is in December, it might not count but for me it is a 27 day advantage on all of y’all and that is a win . In the past my new year resolution list looked something like ‘I will go to the gym 8 days a week, I will eat salad for the rest of my life,  I  will apply for the Managing director post going in my office, I will climb mount Kilomanjaro with nothing more than a pogo stick and and mac eye lashes . These days I take a different approach and I am about to share it with you. Getting to the ripe old age of early 30’s (very early oh for all of you that have brought out your phone calculator *rolls eyes*) I am starting to attach goals more to adventures and living a full life rather than things like career goals, financial goals etc. I want to do things that I will remember, things that will excite me, things that will expand my mind and make me see the world around me. So I have 3 simple goals for 2016 ● 5 countries, 10 Cities, Adventure of    a life time ● Be better than the day before ● Meditate daily  It shouldn’t be so difficult right? This doesn’t even need an explanation.  Now those are just the so called resolutions. I also have a list 30 things to do before 30, it didn’t really pan out when it was originally written and I didn’t do everything I set out to do so the list continues and will be conquered in 2016 IJN do I hear an amen? Some things on my list include very simple things in life that will get me make me look back and smile, I will give you a sneak preview. 1. Visit a Turkish Hamam and get the scrub of my life. image 2. Visit the ice bar in London image 3. Outdoor cinema experience image 4. Water jet skiing image 5. Visit the Blue Lagoon hot springs in Iceland image My mantra for 2016. If it exites you, do it, it will make you happy. First post of 2016, many more to come. Until next time buttercups. Buziaki.
