This trend is never going away

... so get on it and tailor it the way you feel comfortable.   C O L O U R   B L O C K I N G My love for colour is no secret, colour blocking was made for me. As for you monochromist, don't switch off, I found a way for you to wear colour so you dont fry up like a 400 year old vampire in the hot African sun.  I block with any colour at all, I block with colours that are not even real like Mauve, Azure and beige. Oh lawd beige, lets not go there, beige is DEAD to me now so let's move on.  There are hardly any rules and there are a million ways to block.  Below, this fabulous blogger has stuck to similar colours and paired with a neutral coat to make it chic. Below, the colours are a bit bolder. Blues and greens are very wintery colours and work so well together. If you are that scared of bold colours, please choose softer colours like baby pink. Go for more pastels colours and pair with greys, camels.  For people who out rightly hate colour (YOU MONSTER YOU!), add white to the mix and colour blocking with accessories like your hand bag or shoes. In a true fashion as the Queen of colour, I have gone for the brightest in the land. I feel like Joseph with his multi colour coat strutting myself down the streets of London like I own the place ?.  What I am wearing  Jumper: H&m Skirt: H&m Shoes: Dune Bag: River Island  That's all for me folks, I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please comment below what you think. Until next time buttercups.

Prep your spring wardrobe with these key pieces

With these freezing conditions I don't think anyone is thinking about spring yet. Knowing the UK weather, spring can appear next week for a few days and that's it, it's over till next year.  So there is no harm in preparing early right.  Spring coats are the most important item in  your wardrobe. A few silky glimpses of seziness have been circulating insta for people who live in warmer climates and think they know it all *rolls eyes*  You can get the above topshop duster coat here  Get this black number Here This is on sale at miss guided pipo. Hurry up and get it here Word of advice: To avoid that "I just rolled out of bed look" please get one that has some character. For example parker coat above that has scrunched sleeves or metal buckles. You will Slay this with a pair of jeans and a tshirt only, it's that easy. Next agenda on the programme the good old TRENCH COAT You knew this was coming. The trench is too classic to miss off the list. If you think " I am going to skip pass this because I have a trech already", YOU ARE WRONG (in my 'you can't handle the truth' voice). Trench coats are getting modern updates everyday  Update with a vivid coloured trench Or a statement belt trench  Or prints, who doesn't love prints The last transition coat one which I have gone with is the ultimate patent coat. This coat is so so stylish and lifts any outfit. All shops are selling out of these and I got this brand new on eBay for £31, BARGAIN.  Patent coat: Ebay £31 Shoes Mark and Spencer sale : £12.99 Clutch bag: By Opaleye @byopaleye (instagram) Hat: On NYC streets $5 Until next time buttercups.

High street handbags that give designers a run for their money

There is no secret here that I love shopping on the high street. High street brands are boldly matching designer bags in look and feel without the heavy price tag. I had some rules when I purchased high street bags,  Rule no 1 It must be leather. Leather to me gives a level of quality and it is clearly visible. Rule no 2 I always go for a minimalist look so it is not too obvious where I got the bag from. But I find myself abandoning my rules these days due to the quality of neatly sewn PU leather bags out there these days. These bags below are my favs and when worn with good style, they look like a million bucks  From Primark (both £7 below) Below From Newlook (priced between £11.99 and £24.99) Love love love this red bag below.  Looks so expensive and can be worn with anything. This ring bag below has been done by many designers, this is a good pairing for work wear. Blow from Zara. Note these bags are still on sale in Zara so go check them out. They are priced between  £15.99 to £39.99. Very reasonable for bags that look like they cost a grand. These mini bags from zara I love. You can attach it to another bigger bag to give the effect of runway. See below for ways to wear these bags. They look very Fendi like and they fit your phone so you can take them for a night out. This embroidered clutch is from Glamorous and is on sale for £10. You can give an outfit instant uplift with this bag it's that chic. My final pick is this Park Lane number below which is also on sale at ASOS. I hope you are still able to catch some sales and save some money in this austerity January ?. Until next time buttercups
